Apéro

The Apéro is time reserved for unwinding at the end of a day with nice drinks and quality bites. It can be a pre-dinner activity, a cocktail party or the dinner itself (un apéro dînatoire) but it always happens around sunset and includes high quality products shopped locally. The time to enjoy a mix of delicious foods with good drinks (or as we call it, a basket of dreams) is sacred in France but it is very much hygge.
